Ramadan Activities

O you who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you, so that you may learn self-restraint, - Quran 2:183

The Fiqh Council of North America has determined that the first day of Ramadan is on Tuesday, April 13.

Therefore, Taraweeh prayer at the Hoda Center will start on Monday night, April 12 insha'Allah

As the blessed month of Ramadan approaches, the Hoda Center will perform Taraweeh prayers with safety guidelines. As with the Jumaa prayers, everyone should pray on the marked areas on the carpet (socially distanced), wear a mask, and bring a prayer rug. We request that everyone respect and follow these rules for everyone's safety. We request that you only bring children who will be praying. For everyone's safety, there will be no babysitting services and no children will be allowed to run around during the prayers.

Fajr: 6:30 am
Isha: 9:15 pm
Taraweeh prayer time: will follow Isha prayer insha'Allah
To shorten the Taraweeh prayers, we will only pray 1/2 Juz each night and the Juz will start during Isha prayer insha'Allah.
